Cameron is a familiar Scottish Voice Artist, known to audiences reading the traffic and travel news on the commercial radio network. With a friendly and earthy tone to his voice, he can help bring your script to life. From whisky corporate videos to mental health support narration, his warm voice suits a wide range of projects.
He initially trained as an actor at the Drama Centre, and whilst he continues to act alongside his voice work, he often admits that being behind the mic working on a voice project is where he is the most happy.
He works in most areas of the voice world, including audio description, radio and television commercials, corporate video, animation, video games, ADR and, well, pretty much anything requiring a warm, characterful, earthy Scottish sound that is easy on the ear and sounds human.
He has worked on an array of projects over the years. Notably, film and television projects for Amazon Studios, Netflix, BBC, ITV. Other recent clients include Global Radio, Scottish Government, NHS Education for Scotland and the British Council Office.
When he is not in the studio, he can usually be found in the kitchen as he loves food and cooking, listening to inordinate amounts of radio (he really does love the medium) and planning his next trip to Provence.
